GREAT COINS SELL EASILY
We knew we were lucky to had found 5 GEM AU 58 Bust Dollars. Each was super nice-the kind of high end quality you expect from us. Of course each was PCGS CAC (very RARE). 4 out of 5 had inquiries within minutes of posting. Four were sold by Sunday afternoon. In each case we had MULTIPLE buyers. The longest line was for the $1 1802/1 PCGS AU58 CAC because we had left up as “on hold” and had calls through Wed afternoon seeking to buy it We could have sold 4 of that date! In all, we probably had a solid 9-10 people wanting to buy the Bust Dollars (1798, 1800, 1801, 1802/1 all sold). The only date that did not sell, the 1799. Can not explain that one, the coin is really nice.
Other NEWPS did very well too. It was a very good week. Even did $75,000.00 in biz Friday-when our offices were closed!
Now, we have hit the skids. We found a small group of NEWPS to post and we are done for a while. Most NEWPS this week are older coins that we are stumped as to why they have not found good homes. They are priced to the bone!
Hopefully in the upcoming week our team is flying around the US and will come home with some cool coins. We could have our first totally blank NEWPS posting next week otherwise!
We see the overall market as status quo due to the holidays. We are scratching our heads as to why we did not have a Monthly Auction running from the November 22 and closing November 26th. Clearly this weekend people were bidding in auctions!

Do know we will pay the strongest for what we need. So if your offering us an average commoner coin and if we are buying it just to stock, we can only pay slightly less then what we know we can replace it for. Also, don’t always expect a profit on coins you bought within the last 1-2 years-coins generally are a long term hold. However, offer us a $20 1907 WE PCGS CAC (ONLY) MS66 or finer and see what we will pay! The better the coin, quality, eye appeal the more we will pay.

Sorry we could only muster a handful of genuine NEWPS. We are that bone dry. Unlike other firms who don’t care, we do very much care what we offer. We won’t break our mold just to make a buck. To us, the guys who offer hundred or even thousands of coins are NOT rare coin dealers, they are widget marketers. That is not and never will be Legend Numismatics.
We decided to rewrite, reprice, and re-offer several coins that are mysteries to us that have not found good homes yet. Sometimes good coins get overlooked. One they are gone, good luck finding similar coins!
