This is absolutely NOT a date you see offered in any frequency in such a choice state of preservation like this.
Deep mirrors are beaming from allover. A few stray light lines can be seen-that is normal for a coin with huge surfaces like this. The mirrors are also clear, clean overall, and offer strong reflection. A pale hint of gold evenly covers both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have light silver frost. The eye appeal is super flashy!
1000 were minted, however most were melted. PCGS 39, NGC 43, CAC 10. The last PCGS CAC coin to sell in auction brought $6,462.50 04/2013. (and had drab toning). We know we do not see many more Choice or GEM Proof Seated Dollars being offered these days.
