The rarity and quality of these pieces are unequaled. 1870CC PCGS MS562 CAC. This is the coin that sold for $70,500.00 back in 2014. We strongly believe it is better then a MS62. Sent it only once for regrade. The coin is fully prooflike. The surfaces re extremely clean and smooth.  Both sides are evenly covered by a totally original pale reddish gold/purple mix of colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is stunning! 1871CC PCGS AU58 CAC.It is pure myth these come nice, If so, there would not be the lone MS61 and MS64 then after 30+ years of operations for PCGS. One one or two scattered tiny ticks can be found. Overall, the surfaces are super clean and smooth. A surprisingly strong luster enhances the evenand totally original dove gray/blue/pale olive toning. This coins i NOT drab or dull. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. The wear is extremely light. This coin looks really good too! 1872CC PCGS MS62. This one did not earn a bean., We think it was light dipped or cleaned LONG ago. This coin is almost par for the course as to how these come. The surfaces are sleek and have just a few tiny ticks and lines spread out.Both sides are a silver/pale golden brown color. Miss Liberty and the details are extremely well struck. The eye appeal is not bad at all. 1873CC PCGS AU58. We have long considered this coin to be a GEM AU. We’ve seen the MS61 and think overall this coin is better. Only one small negative-there is a hidden small scrape on the obverse. Regardless, we see very little wear. The surfaces do emit a strong luster and offer traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. Both sides have splashes of original purple/olive/pale violet/deep pewter colors. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is great! Keep in mind, save for the MS65 in our set, there are only two known MS coisn graded by PCGS-a 60+61. That is powerful proof as to how ULTRA RARE this date and grade is. You can NOT build a CC Set like this or finer today. The rarity of these dates and grades are off the charts.
