$1 1874 PCGS PR64 CAMEO

Why on earth this coin is still here is a mystery to us (actually its a victim of summer doldrums). It’s really VERY hard to find this date and it is NOT a dipped piece like so many are. So we are relisting it at a slightly better price. This great coin needs a great home. Once it is sold-good luck find a nice original 1874 proof!  This is a great coin to add to any choice/GEM Proof Trade Dollar set (a st we highly recommend building as you CAN complete one 1873-1883). Superior deep and glittering mirrors beam from all over. The mirrors exhibit strong clarity, have just a few light lines that can only be seen with a glass and are offer a bold reflection. A pretty and totally original mix of pale lavender/dove gray (this coin is NOT dull)/pewter/champagne colors are evenly spread all over. Miss Liberty and the details are  well struck and do have thick creamy frost. The eye appeal is great! ONLY 700 were ever minted. PCGS 22, NGC 17, CAC 10 (for sure there was one coin that probably was resubmitted 4-5 x).  The last PCGS (NON) CAC to sell in auction brought $4,465.00 05/2016. The last PCGS CAC to ever sell in auction brought $5,581.00 in 2013-3 LONG years ago!
