$1 1879 PCGS MS66+

Holy cowabunga! What a SUPERB GEM 1879 $1 this is! Hard to believe, Legend has never owned one before this. We fully agree this coin is a MS66+. It is closer to MS67 then MS66 for sure. The surfaces are seriously above average in terms of cleanliness and satiny texture. There are just one or two tiny ticks. We do grade the reverse a MS66.9+. The luster is strong but has that satiny look (generally these do NOT come looking killer bee like an 80S). Both sides are a totally original killer white. Miss Liberty and the details are totally outstanding in strike and frost. Her cheek is amazingly clean and puffy. The eye appeal is superb! PCGS 239, NGC 76, CAC 57. PCGS has only graded 5 higher with NO beans. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $6,462.50 01/2017. The last PCGS MS67 sold for $46,000.00 in 2007!
