$1 1880-S PCGS MS68

We bought this coin in a big deal that had been off the market for 5-15 years recently. We liked it so much we did resubmit it to PCGS for a +. No luck. We’re done. This is not your typical okay 80S in MS68. This is a very sexy and high piece. The obverse is fully prooflike while the reverse is only semi prooflike. There is strong contrast. The surfaces are super clean. Even if you use a strong glass, you will not find any problems. Only on the reverse at 6:00 by the rim is there a dash of rose. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and are thickly frosted. The eye appeal is bold and neat! PCGS 210, NGC 306, CAC 158. In the Long Beach Auction a lightly toned piece that in our opinion lacked the eye appeal this piece has, brought over $6,000.00!  We feel our selling price is more then fair considering the quality and eye appeal!
