$1 1888 PCGS PR64+

We fully agree this coin is a PR64++++. We think some slight irregular toning is all that keeps it from a full PR65. Superb deep mirrors boldly beam from all over. The mirrors are extremely clean, clear, and have an intense reflection. If you twirl the coin, the mirrors are so powerful they look like a bright river of mercury sloshing around. Totally original shades of light to medium reddish golden brown are splashed around. This coin is no where near dull of drab. Miss Liberty and the details are silvery and are well struck. This coin has great eye appeal and really does look better then some PR65’s we have seen! ONLY 832 minted. PCGS 39, NGC 46, CAC 3.The last PCGS CAC PR 64 (NO +) piece to sell in auction brought $3,737.00-06/2012. FIVE YEARS IS AN ETERNITY!!! CAC has only beaned a total of 14 for the entire pop or regular Proofs. THAT IS RARE! We can NOT stress enough how impossible it is to find a flashy 1888 Proof like this.
