$1 1898 PCGS PR67+

We’ll name this coin “Pride of ownership”. The collector who we obtained this coin from has let it be well known to us this piece was one of his all time forever favorite coins. He calls the mirrors completely dreamy”. We call the coin VERY HIGH END and pretty darn neat! Superior deep mirrors do beam boldly from all over. As previous owner started, the mirrors are dreamy, have amazing clarity , are impeccably clean, and are intensely reflective. A serious mix of totally original  colors so beautiful they would any Peacock in heat blush-swirl all over. Deeper shades of olive/forest green/violet/plum/gold/amber/blue/green just capture the light in a spectacular way. If you twirl the coin, the mirrors have that “dreamy” watery look. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is super! This is one of the finest TONED survivors for the date we have ever seen! Only 735 were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 9, CAC 1. PCGS has graded only this coin (pop 1) in PR67+ with just 2 in PR68. This coin has NEVER appeared in any auction-nor has any PR67! The last PR68 sold back in 1999 in auction. NON Cameo-gorgeous toners like this simply do not exist. We assure the next owner, they will enjoy the same “pride of ownership” the last collector did.
