Hard to believe an $10 from 1893 is consider a “commoner” coin. We think its great these are so affordable!
This coin is solid for the grade. Only a few very light ticks/scuffs are visible. Nothing is deep or is distracting. The luster is suprisngly strong. Both sides are light pinkish/deeper gold color. There are NO spots or discoloration. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp sharp strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 284, NGC 750, CAC 23. Interstingly the last 1893 PCGS MS64 (NO CAC ) to sell in auction was back in 06/2014. That coin brought $1,293.00. The last CAC piece to sell, was an NGC which brought $1,703.00 way back in 11/2013. Can’t find many 1890’s $10’s this cheap any more!
