We ONLY buy + coins when they are what we believe they should be: borderline to the next grade up. This coin is such a HIGH END piece! To the naked eye this coin looks super clean and satiny. With a glass you can find a few ticks scattered about and a few thin light lines (all hidden like a + coin should be). The surfaces are totally ORIGINAL and there are NO spots or stains. Both sides are a pleasing deeper gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 247, NGC 406, CAC 26 (ALL). In MS64+ PCGS has graded only 20 coins. The last PCGS MS64+ CAC to sell in auction brought $4,230.00 04/2016. Its important to note that in MS65, a CAC piece sold for $10,063.00 09/2010. Today, that figure would be higher.
