We love this full GEM. Why PCGS did not designate it as such-only they know!
Wonderful surfaces are extremely clean and smooth. Even with a strong glass we cannot find any impairments. A moderate luster brings of the beautiful shades of totally original green/pale purple/golden brown/lavender/blue colors that swirl all over. This is NOT a dull or drab coin in any way. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. The eye appeal is superb!
PCGS 9, NGC 0, CAC 2. PCGS possibly has graded only 3 coins higher. The last auction record for ANY 1823/2 in MS64 was from 2006! Ya think this is a rare coin? We know it is! If your into Early Dimes, this coin will make a tremendous addition to your collection.
