We got very lucky and bought this and the 1912 10C PR66 really right. We’ll buy all we can when they are priced so cheap and look so great!
Deep mirrors are really lively and beam from all over. There are NO problems and the mirrors do have clarity. The reflection is quite strong too. Both sides are covered by an even mix of original deeper olive/forest green/blue/gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details stand out with crisp full strikes and bold frost. The eye appeal is VERY pretty!
ONLY 755 were minted. PCGS 28, NGC 34, CAC 12. The last PCGS PR66 CAC to sell in auction brought $1,762.00 01/2014-a price even then we thought was cheap.; Again, how can you not buy this coin at today’s prices or build a set of these?
