10C 1911 PCGS PR68

An outstanding Proof Barber Dime-certainly one of the BEST for the series. We looked this coin over many times with a strong glass and found ZERO imperfections of ANY size, ANY where. The mirrors are super deep, have bold clarity, and are highly reflective. They glisten like a freshly formed sheet of ice. Both sides have a swirling mix of totally original and very pretty shades of blue/evergreen/deep gold splashes of color . Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous (and flashy)! ONLY 543 were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 7, CAC 6 (this coin is 2X). This coin last sold in 06/2014 for $9,988.00. At today’s price, we think it (and ANY PR68 PCGS CAC PR Barber 10C) is a steal. We were paying as much as $18,000.00 buying similar coins out of the Gardner sales only two years ago. And if you notice, no other NEW PR68’s have hit the market since Gardner. If this coin isn’t opportunity knocking at this price, then we don’t know what is. Legend does firmly recommend building a collection of ALL PR Barbers in ALL grades from PR64 on up. Or place a great piece like this in a GEM Type set.
