1/2C 1803 PCGS MS64BN

$9,750.00

Wicked cool! Hard to believe this coin has survived over 213 years in such a remarkable state of preservation! Struck on a problem free planchet, this piece shows no porosity. The surfaces are smooth and have a very decent slight gloss/luster. This coin has no been brushed or player with. Both sides are a delicious original chocolate brown color. Thee is some light die clashing and die cracks visible. Miss Liberty is exceptionally struck. There is a touch of weakness in the leaves on the reverse-something known to the date. The eye appeal is fabulous! PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 1. Why isn’t this coin worth $15-$25G? It ranks among the finest for the date. Auction records show a total of 3 coins (2 NGC) have been sold in the past decade. Plus, its a 213 year old obsolete coin! In our strong opinion, this is a terribly overlooked coin.
