Legend Numismatics is proud to offer the Holy Grail of the Large Cent world: the 1799. This coin has a pedigree that includes several top collections. It is one of the finest examples of this date can obtain. The surfaces do have some minor imperfections. There are traces of shallow verdigris in a few of the protected areas on both sides. Just a few contact marks, including a couple nicks on the nose, one on the chin, and a couple more in the field before the neck can be seen only with a strong glass. Both sides are a deep brown/pale olive color. Miss Liberty and all of the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is pleasing! PCGS 2, NGC 0. The current Collectors Universe value for this date is $200,000.00.  This coin was replaced by the 1799 in MS61 ($540,000.00).
