1C 1809 PCGS MS63+ BN BLUE LAKE

We are pleased to offer this very choice example of a very rare and seldom seen date in MS. Overall, the surfaces are clean and have thick satiny type look. We do think this coin has been lightly oiled long ago  (the equivalent of dipping for silver). Only with a strong glass can you also detect some microscopic porosity. There is a good gloss/luster. Both sides are a deeper brown. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. This actually is a very pleasing example to see. PCGS 1, NGC 2. This is the ONLY MS63+ BN graded. It has never been sold via auction. We feel strongly our offering price is very fair. It is also near the Current Collectors Universe Value of $29,000.00.
