1C 1896 PCGS PR65+ CAC

This date in true GEM RED should not be compared to any commoner dates. These simply do not come so nice. When we saw this coin, it was a “must own” as it is far superior to what we have seen. Deep mirrors beam nicely from all over. They have strong clarity and are clean overall. Only with a strong glass can you detect a few microscopic toning dots. Both sides are a genuine GEM MINT RED color with alight accent of gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have pinpoint sharp strikes. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 6, NGC 8, CAC 2. This is the ONLY PR65+ graded. PCGS has graded only 4 coins while CAC has none! The last PR65RD PCGS CAC sold in auction for $4,700.00 in 12/2013 (Legend was the buyer).
