We were shocked when we saw Legend has not owned or handled a GEM MS65 RD since 2014. We do handle more MS66 RD’s! Its a pure quality issue. This coin is dramatically better then the majority of MS65’s we have ever seen. In fact we are stumped as to why PCGS did not designate this a +. For the last 108 years this coin was so well protected it sure looks like it left he bank! WOW! GEM surfaces are devoid of any significant (and most small) ticks, scrapes, or other stuff. They are also quite smooth. Only with a strong glass can you find a microscopic toning dot or two. A full booming luster (think volcano exploding) booms from all over. It makes the GEM ORIGINAL MINT RED surfaces look like they are on fire. Lincoln and every detail is fully struck and stands out. This coin is way superior to the dull and crusty puke reds we see. The eye appeal is awesome! PCGS 891, NGC 174, CAC 107.  The last PCGS CAC piece to sell at auction brought $5,170.00 01/2017. When you see it you will fully agree-this coin has few peers as a MS65 RD!
