$2.5 1825 PCGS AU58

OMG! This coin is not worthy of being just an AU58. We really did submit this coin 3x to PCGS seeking a 61-and they wouldn’t even + it. What in the world are thinking here? We make NO promise it will ever go up-but we have NEVER seen a more fresher honest coin then this for the Type (save for much higher graded coins)! To start, the surfaces are FULLY prooflike. Booming full deep mirrors can be seen from across the room. In fact, at first glance you think proof or specimen. The marks and lines on the surfaces re very minor and light. You can only see them using a strong glass. This coin is extremely rare in the fact it has totally “original skin”. The color is a totally original; deep yellow gold with alight hint of toning. There are NO spots or discolorations. It is really hard to find the wear. Most important: the details are extremely well struck with just a touch of softness on the reverse. The eye appeal is nothing less then amazing! PCGS 8, NGC 10, CAC 3. We paid a ton for this coin because it looks far better then most MS61’s you will ever see. Plus, in Early coins like this you can’t put enough of a price on originality. If you collect Early $2.5’s, then you will understand this coin. There is no way when you hold in hand you don’t say WOW  or OMG like we did. This really is an amazing coin that WILL be a standout in ANY AU or even MS collection!
