When properly graded this a very hard date to find. This is the first AU58 for the date we have ever handled.
There are only a few super tiny and light scattered ticks. The coin looks pretty clean to the naked eye. Both sides are a very pretty even yellow gold color. There is even an above average luster to highlight the color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. All wear is light and is even. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 15, NGC 109, CAC 15. The ONLY PCGS CAC example we could find that sold at auction brought $2,760.00 way back in 12/2010. it certainly proves to us this is a rare date and grade-no matter what the pops report! This coin got our attention when going through a major dealers boxes. It will get plenty of attention in your collection too!
