Only with a strong glass can you detect a few light frost breaks and a hidden Mint made line on the reverse. There are NO real marks anywhere. The surfaces are delightfully satiny smooth. A neat “thick” luster boldly enhances the “thick” gold/pale greenish gold original colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 244, NGC 252, CAC 52. PCGS has graded only 6 coins MS66+. NO PCGS CAC piece has ever sold at auction. AN NGC did bring $1,527.00 01/2015 in weak sale. MS67’s will still cost you around $4,000.00-if you can find any. We bought this piece really right.
