$20 1906 PCGS PR65 OGH

It has been ages since we have been able to offer a GEM Proof $20 Liberty. Of course it was well worth the wait! We do consider this coin HIGH END. It is also a borderline cameo. The mirrors beam boldly from all over. They have great clarity, are ultra clean (there are more lines on the holder then the coin), and they are super reflective. You almost need sunglasses to view this coin with!  The mirrors do have that slightly rolling “watery” look. Both sides are a  light tone gold/pale orange gold color. This coin was never dipped or messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes.  The eye appeal is tremendous! Only 94 pieces were minted. PCSG 3, NGC 1, CAC 2. At the ANA Show, we did see an NGC WHOLESALE privately  for $105,000.00! Most published prices are wrong for Proof $20 Libs. Think about how many (of ANY date) you have seen offered in the past few years.We do know years ago the Japanese investors took many GEM’s over and we have seen NONE come back. We believe this coin represents strong upside potential.
