20C 1875-CC PCGS MS64

One look and we were in love! This is a high end and totally original coin. We’d bet prior to third party grading this coin would have been called a GEM MS65. Obviously, today’s standards are much tougher. The surfaces are super smooth and are surprisingly clean. Only with a strong glass can you see a tiny OLD tick or two hidden on the obverse. A good luster enhances the color. Both sides are a moderate and totally original pale brown/deep pewter. This coin is NOT dull or drab. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 119, NC 91, CAC 10. The last PCGS piece to sell in auction was anon CAC which brought $4,230.00 10/2016. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $5,581.00 06/2013. We were stunned by the pops-we certainly do NOT see these in any frequency.
