2C 1871 PCGS PR66RB

What a fabulous GEM Proof 2C piece! No question it is more red then red brown. Glittering mirrors do have some better depth then typically seen. The mirrors also have great clarity, cleanliness, and of course offer a bold reflection. There are NO spots. Original color is spread all over, Both sides are a vivid totally original Mint red with hints of gold/pale reddish brown peaking out.  Every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike and has light frost. The eye appeal is totally superb! PCGS 21, NGC 27, CAC 8. The last one to sell in auction brought $2,350.00  02/2017.
