2C 1872 PCGS PR66 RB

$2,550.00

having just completed a small collection of these for ourselves, we know there are very few nice pieces out there. 1872 is a tougher date to find nice like this then most collectors realize. Surprisingly deep mirrors actually do beam from all over. They are still not full mirrors like what you would see on an 1868 (see the GEM RD piece in our NEWPS). The mirrors do offer excellent clarity, they are clean, and they are reflective. There is a little dot that is either a planchet flake or a piece of dirt-very hard to tell. Both sides have light golden brown toning over the original red surfaces. Ever detail is super frosty and is needle sharp on strike. The eye appeal is pretty neat! PCGS 32, NGC 36, CAC 16. The last PCGS (NO CAC) to sell brought $3,995.00 06/2017. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell brought $2,467.50 06/2016. There are not many nice ones of these around. You can’t go to most bug shows and find one! Opportunity knocks loud here! WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE
