An amazing example of one of the rarest ever MS 3CS pieces that exists! Most important to start: there is NO question this coin is a genuine MINT STATE piece. Its quality is mind-blowing! Having built the all time FINEST EVER MS 3CS set, we know how out of this world this piece really is and will try to relate this to you. Stunning and completely satiny in texture surfaces are remarkably clean. There is NO hint of any deep mirrors-just some faint semi-prooflike mirrors. A full booming luster shows off crisp snowy white surfaces. Every detail is fully struck and stands out with thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is totally mesmerizing! ONLY 4500 were ever minted. PCGS 2, NGC 2, CAC 2. Only the unbelievable MS68 (we placed in the Simpson collection) is finer. We must tell you-when we were building the Simpson/LAW collection (#1 all time on the PCGS Registry), it took us 15 years-YES 15 YEARS to find an MS66 1869!
