3CS 1870 PCGS MS66

Only 3000 were ever minted. Not a date or grade you see offered even in major auctions! This piece is an unquestionable MS. The surfaces are smooth, have prooflike tendencies, and do emit a strong luster. There are NO noticeable problems anywhere. A beautiful mix of colors form a ring of pearl green/gold/pale blue that opens into lighter lavender centers. This coin is NOT dull or drab. Every detail is sharply struck and has generous frost. The eye appeal is very nice! PCGS 9, NGC 6, CAC 4. The only PCGS MS67 is locked away in major a collection. The last MS66 to appear in a major auction auction sold for $12,925.00 08/2017 and was NOT CAC.  We can’t stress how great of an opportunity these better MS 3CS pieces offer.
