High end quality. Most important-this coin has NOT been messed with (yes, the majority really have been). Moderately prooflike surfaces are also lightly lustrous. You can easily see the mirrors flash. Only with a strong glass can you detect some tiny dings/ticks (remember this coin is 222 years old). Both sides are a totally original deep original gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations on any of the high points. The wear is minimal and is even. Miss Liberty and the details are all well struck (especially the reverse). The eye appeal is great! PCGS 35, NGC 19, CAC 4. In 2014, at PCGS CAC sold for $47,000.00. Do NOT let the pops fool you. CAC has only beaned a total of 13 coins in all of the AU grades (vs 297 graded by PCGS and NGC).  To find a piece unmessed with and accurately graded is really impossible these days. The last one we owned was back in 2007. The price guides are incorrect because so few have ever traded. Once this coin is sold-good luck finding another! We can not stress enough what a great coin this would be to start any collection or Type set.
