Sometimes it hard to figure the grades on Indian gold. This coin looks as good or even better then some MS65’s we have seen!
Extremely clean and smooth surfaces highlight both sides. Only on the reverse in the dreaded right field can you find a tiny bit of chatter-only with a glass. Still, the obverse looks MS65. A moderate luster shows off the even deeper gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. The Indian and all of the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 458, NGC 465, CAC 59. The last one to sell in auction brought $2,223.00 02/2016. No way that coin was as nice as this one. Of course gold has gone up a bunch since then!
