50C 1807 DB PCGS MS64+ 0-105

We consider this coin to be a VERY High end MS64+. We HAVE indeed seen MS65’s this coin looks better then. We are not saying it is a MS65 though. It sure is one of the nicest 1807 Draped Bust coins you will see being offered for along time! Fantastic surfaces are exceedingly smooth and clean. We did a long close inspection of the coin with a strong glass and found NO problems of any kind, any where. A moderate luster shows off the totally original toning. Both sides are an even golden brown/pale pewter color. This is NOT a dull or drab coin. Miss Liberty and the details are boldly struck and have gentle frost. The eye appeal is just great! PCGS 16, NGC 18, CAC 8. This is the ONLY MS64+ graded. It has never been sold in auction. Here too (as with so many great coins) the published prices are wrong. The last MS64 (NO +) to sell in auction brought $28,750.00 01/2012. When we were searching for an MS65, we never ever found one we liked until the MS65+ hit the market. That coin brought $141,000.00 04/2016 and is now forever impounded in a major Type set. We do not have to think, it has been more then proven to us how rare and UNDERvalued this date and grade are. It is perfect for a major Type or Bust Half set.
