5C 1883 SHIELD PCGS MS67+

This coin actually walked up to us from a well respected dealer who knows this is exactly “Legend quality”. In fact, it actually is one of our favorite purchases from the show. For an MS Shield 5C, this coin is a beast! We could accept it as an MS68 (obviously PCGS does not). Stunning surfaces are the ultimate in cleanliness. Even using a microscope will yield you not even he tiniest imperfection. Amazing satiny yet semi-prooflike surfaces are something you never ever see. A full booming luster really enlivens the totally original nickel/pale blue/pale gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Every detail is sharply struck and is lightly frosted The eye appeal is pure jaw dropping! PCGS 123, NGC 90,CAC 10. PCGS has graded only 2 in MS67+. There are NO MS68’s. The other coin apparently has never been sold at auction (we don’t know if it is even CAC).  As time goes on, the rarity and value of this coin will only increase. SUPERB GEM Shield 5C are really more difficult to find then you think. And this coin really DOES blow most away!
