G $1 1853 PCGS MS66+

This is a wonderful SUPERB GEM piece. It is ONE tiny contact tick from MS67 too. Overall, the surfaces are remarkably clean and smooth. They do have a satiny texture. A thick satiny luster does beam from all over. Both sides are bathed in an even and totally original deep yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations of any kind anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are amazingly fully struck and DO stand out. The eye appeal is fabulous! PCGS 50, NGC 39, CAC 19. PCGS has graded only 5 in MS66+. We can tell you, these do NOT appear often. The next step up would easily cost you $17,500.00+ (if you could even find one)> This would make a great addition to any GEM $1 Gold or Type set.
