A SUPERB GEM AU! Can not really say why this coin is not an AU55. Impressive surfaces are smooth and are super clean. Using a strong glass all we could find is one tiny tick and one tiny light scratch. A light luster enhances the totally original pewter/pale olive colors. This is NOT a dull or drab coin. Miss Liberty and every detail show only light and even wear but are still well struck. The eye appeal is really nice! PCGS 14, NGC 6, CAC 3. This coin last traded in our January Auction for $8,225.00. The buyer has decided Early Type was not for them and asked us to resell this really neat coin.
