1796 $1 Dollar Bust, Small Eagle LgDt-SmLet PCGS XF45 (CAC) A SUPERB GEM XF!

We can not stress enough how ANY 1796 $1 in ANY grade that is original like this is rare-really rare. There is no question to us, this coin is SUPER HIGH END and is a borderline AU piece. We do not like this coin, WE LOVE IT! Why can’t all 1796 $1 be like this?

Remarkable surfaces are incredibly clean and smooth. We used a strong glass and looked all over. We could barely find any pinpoint ticks. Incredibly, we see some light original luster beaming from around the devices. We never see that. There is a light “skin” of original even pewter/deep silver toning. The obverse has a thicker band of pale original russet framing the peripheries. There are no discolorations on the highpoints. All wear is light. Miss Liberty and the details are okay in strike. The eye appeal is fabulous for an XF!

PCGS 12, NGC 0, CAC 2. The last CAC coin to sell via auction was an NGC piece. It brought $19,200.00 01/2024-it was NOT this coin. An PCGS CAC XF 40 brought $18,000.00 07/2022. There are no accurate price guides. Frankly the coin we are offering here is far superior in quality and eye appeal to the two we mentioned.
