This 1893 Dollar PCGS PR69 DCAM sold for $250,000. This mindboggling GEM was from the "deal of the decade" we purchased in March. It is the finest PR Morgan in existence.
50C 1797 PCGS MS65+. EX NORWEB
The finest known and tied grade-wise with one other. The outright purchase price was $1,350,000. This coin is now in a major Type set.
1C 1943-D PCGS MS64BN
UNIQUE! This coin is a true GEM. It has now been placed with a 43P +43S to create the only known PDS Copper set! The purchase price was $1,700,000, making it the most valuable 1C on earth.

A 1927-D Saint Gaudens PCGS MS66 that was purchased via private treaty for $1.9 million. This coin resides in a complete southwestern Saint Collection.
1880 $4 COILED HAIR STELLA PCGS PR64 CAMEO. CAC.
Not the 63 that's now in a 64 holder. This coin is beautiful! One of fewer than 6 known. Legend outright purchased this coin and placed it in a major private collection which now has a complete gold Stella set. The value of this coin is $1.3 million.

Purchased this for a record $603,750 out of the Heritage FUN Sale. It is believed to be the second finest known. It is now placed in the Simpson Pattern Collection.

The Brandon Pattern Collection
Purchased outright. This superb set was assembled from 1988-1998. Highlights include 1863, 1864, 1865 transitional dollars in GEM PR. Value $1 million.
G$2.5 1854-S PCGS XF45-THE RIO RANCHO SPECIMEN
We've been waiting 20 years to own this GEM XF piece. It is the second finest known. Only 12 pieces can be traced—the great rarity of this date is undisputed. Our cost was $345,000 out of the Heritage FUN Auction.
THE THIRD FINEST MS SEATED DOLLAR COLLECTION
This set was purchased outright and intact by us for nearly 3/4 of a million dollars. The set is comprised of PCGS/NGC graded coins. The grades are 58-66. The only two finer sets were totally built by Legend and are in strong collectors’ hands.

This amazing coin is universally acknowledged to be the finest $10 Indian known (yes, it surpasses even the MS68's that are graded). Others even feel it is the finest 20th century gold coin in existence! It has as full of a strike as you'll ever see and mind-boggling original colors. Some experts even think it is a specimen. The coin was the final piece added to the BRS Legacy Collection, clearly the all-time finest $10 Indian set ever assembled. The coin was purchased for a world record $1,725,000.
1907 ULTRA HIGH RELIIEF PCGS PR-68
1907 Ultra High Relief PCGS PR68. Purchased out of the Heritage 2007 FUN Auction for $1,840,000. This completes the BRS Legacy Saint Collection, currently the second finest assembled (all PCGS).

We purchased an amazing collection of more than 1,000 patterns for a sum in excess of $30 million. Included were: The Amazonian Gold Set, the finest Quintuple Stella, Half Union in Copper and Gilt, 1879 Coiled Hair Stella, 1880 Aluminum Stella NGC PR68, etc. to name just a few.
THE FINEST PROOF 3CS SET
We purchased outright the JEU PR 3CS-the #1 all-time finest (since 2002). The value of this set: over $250,000. Most of the coins are wonderfully colored. Only the best coins are in this set. The highlight is the 1854 PCGS PR66-a pop 1 coin. GEM PR 3CS pieces are far rarer than most people realize.

This beautiful coin is really a PR65. It has full flashy mirrors and is totally original. This is probably the 3rd finest of the 12 specimens known. We purchased this coin outright at the Stacks 72nd Anniversary sale. The value of this coin is $1,552,500.

Wow, wow, wow! These coins are all pristine and have monster eye appeal. This set is by far the finer of the 2 known. This was placed in what is quickly becoming the greatest Pattern set EVER. The value of this set: $675,000.
$5 1908-S PCGS MS-68 THE FINEST $5 INDIAN ON THE PLANET!
There are NO other $5 Indians like this magnificent GEM! Both PCGS and NGC have fully agreed this is the single finest specimen known for the series. Rich in two-tone orange-gold color, this coin has an intense luster and displays no marks. The current value of the coin is $200,000. It was sold via private treaty.
NAPLES III COLLECTION 1793-1800
This complete "GEM" VF-MS64 Pre-1800 collection was assembled exclusively by us over an 8 year period. We purchased the coins outright and sold the collection intact for a sum close to $2 million. All coins were PCGS graded. Many monster pedigreed coins such as the 1793 Garrett H.01C PCGS AU53, the Norweb 1793 Chain Cent PCGS AU55, and the finest known 1798 SE $1 Ex Cardinal PCGS AU58 were included. It would be virtually impossible to recreate this set today.
THE FINEST 1943 COPPER CENT NGC MS-63 BN
We are pleased to have purchased outright by private treaty one of the most famous coins in existence. This coin is unquestionably genuine and looks every bit as good as any other Copper Cent. It is estimated that fewer than a dozen pieces exist. The piece is valued at $250,000.
THE JEU/CISCO KID PROOF 2C Collection
ALL TIME FINEST!
At the Denver ANA Show Legend outright purchased the JEU Collection of PR PCGS 2C pieces. It has ranked #1 on the PCGS Registry since 2002. We have since merged it with another collection we exclusively built to create a monster #1 all-time finest set. The new collection is called the "Cisco Kid". The highlights are the 1864 Small Motto PCGS PR65 RD (JEU was PR64RD) and the 1868 and 1872 PCGS PR67RD pieces.
THE ALL TIME FINEST MS 3CN COLLECTION
Legend purchased this collection intact at the Heritage February Long Beach Sale. It is the all-time finest MS set graded by PCGS. There are many pop. ones including the ultra-rare 1884 which is a PCGS MS66. The quality of each coin is phenomenal. The price paid for this set was $258,750. We feel this set can never be duplicated and we are proud to own it.
THE 1866 $1 NGC PR-63 NO MOTTO
One of only 2 known! This is the ONLY collectable specimen. The other (The DuPont Specimen) is permanently impounded in the ANA Museum. Legend purchased this coin at the ANR auction prior to the 2005 Fun Show on behalf of a customer who is building one of the finest PR Seated Dollar collections. Purchase price: $1,207,500.
10C 1894-S NGC PR-66 THE FINEST!
One of the most famous rarities that exists. We've upgraded a few points from the fair coin we handled in 1988. This is considered among experts to be the finest, and certainly is the prettiest. It now resides in one of the all-time finest PR Barber Collections. Purchase price: $1,035,000 from the FUN auction (where it was a PCGS PR65).
1913 LIBERTY NICKEL PCGS PR-66
This is the world famous Eliasberg coin. It is the finest of the 5 known. Legend outright purchased this coin via private treaty for $4,150,000. This is the second highest price ever paid for a US coin. This piece also was the first coin to sell for over $1 million. At the Eliasberg sale in 1996, it sold for $1,485,000.
$20 1927-D PCGS MS-66 THE DALLAS BANK COIN
Quite possibly the finest 1927D! From the world class Dallas Bank Collection (auctioned by Sotheby’s in 2001). This piece is totally original and looks phenomenal. Legend purchased it outright via private treaty for $1,650. We had regretted not buying at the sale. It is now in one of the finest Saint Collections ever formed.

A wonder coin! By far the finest of three known. We purchased this coin at the Heritage Morse Auction of Saints. This coin is universally agreed to be one of the finest Saints on the planet. We paid $920,000. Nothing was going to stop us from buying it! The coin now rests in the BRS Legacy Collection of Saints, a complete and finest run of PR Saints 1907-1915.

NGC PR 64 Cameo*. Ex-Amon Carter (one of the few gold coins he owned). This piece is superior to all others. There are only 4 known specimens. The value of this piece is $1 million. This coin was purchased outright by Legend via private treaty. It now resides in one of the greatest Pattern collections ever formed.
THE FIRST PAN PAC SET MINTED
Legend paid a record $368,000 at the 2005 ANA Auction for this set, the very first Pan Pac set ever minted. The set comes with a large assortment of important plaques and memorabilia. The set has since been placed in an important collection.
THE SECOND FINEST 1885 TRADE DOLLAR
Legend outright purchased the Rudolf-Amon Carter Trade Dollar PCGS PR62 cameo. This coin is the second finest of the 5 minted. The purchase price was in excess of $1 million for it. The coin last sold at the Stacks Rudolf Auction (May 2003) for $920,000. It has been placed in a private collection of Proof Trade Dollars.
1C 1943-S Copper PCGS AU-58
Acquired by us for our personal Legend Collection of Rarities. This prize piece is the second finest of only 4 coins known to be from the San Francisco Mint. All 1943 Copper Cents are unquestionably the most famous coins in existence. Along with this incredible piece we also own a rare SILVER 1943S Pattern. 1870-S PCGS MS-64 HALF DIME-UNIQUE!
One of the rarest coins in the world! This is the ONLY known specimen. Legend purchased this coin for $661,250 out of the July B+M Sale. It is the only coin that the famed collector of the only "complete" set of U.S. coins ever assembled Louis Eliasberg did not own. We placed this coin in the world class Law Collection of Seated Half Dimes we are exclusively building. This is now the only complete set.

5C 1913 PCGS PF-64 Liberty Head nickel
One of only five minted, this specimen most recently appeared in the Reed Hawn sale by Stacks in 1993. The coin was part of our Legend Rarities Collection alongside other choice numismatics treasures. We sold this great rarity in 2004. At the time of the sale, the coin was valued at $3 million!

An incredible cameoed specimen. Believed to be the finest known. Less than 20 pieces were minted. Now part of the Legend Collection of Classic Rarities. Worth well in excess of $250,000.
EVERGREEN COLLECTION-BUST AND SEATED COINS
At the 2002 FUN SHOW, Legend out right purchased the EVERGREEN Collection of Reeded Edge Halves and Seated coins. The Seated section was the largest known group of fresh original coins to have EVER surfaced. OVER 1000 coins were involved with a value of over $1 million. Highlights included: 1839O MS66, 1840 PR64, 1862 MS67 etc. Never before has the marketplace seen such an incredible group of No Motto Seated and Motto Seated Halves and Quarters.
LAFAYETTE DOLLAR PCGS MS-67
This is the original MS67 coin graded by PCGS. This coin has a price history in excess of $125,000. It is acknowledged among Commem specialists to be the FINEST Lafayette that exists. This coin is currently in the Bruce Scher #1 Commem set on the PCGS Registry.

FINEST ORIGINAL NO MOTTO PROOF SETS 1856-1864
Legend purchased and privately placed the finest know group of these sets. All coins were picked directly from the U.S. Mint at the time of issue. The 1856 set included many PR68 pieces. Other sets included 1863, 1864 both with PR68 Seated Dollars. Over 90% of the coins are the finest graded. This deal was valued in excess of $1 million.

This coin was the deepest, wildest, most cameoed 1895 we have ever handled. In fact we have handled it twice in our career now. It has been placed with a collector who is building one of the finest PR Morgan Collections ever! We value this coin well in excess of $50,000. There are many other coins worth much more that we have bought or sold, but this coin is one of our all-time favorites.
1943-S Cent- Copper PCGS VF-35 Mint Error
One of the most famous mint errors ever made. Only 4 San Francisco pieces are known to exist (vs 30 from Phili). Many people consider these to be a great "Classic Rarity" of the 20th century.

This piece is acknowledged by the National Silver Dollar Roundtable as being the finest dollar in existence. (1794-1935)
The East Coast Peace Dollar Set
MS 65+ Assembled of a customer and sold for a still record price of $205,000.
Exclusively assembled by Legend on behalf of a customer. This set was ALL PCGS and ranked as one of the finest complete type sets of U.S. Coins ever assembled. We sold it intact via private Treaty for $1 million.
The Amon Carter 1804 Dollar
One of the most famous coins in the world. This coin is a problem free example of a Class III 1804. Its pedigree is a list of the who's who in numismatics. Legend outright purchased this major rarity for just under $1 million.
New England Collection of Trade Dollars
Purchased the collection outright. Highlights included: 1873 CC MS64, and the exceedingly rare 1884 and 1885 Norweb Proofs, both PCGS PR62. The transaction was via private treaty and totaled $1 million.
Jack Lee Collection of PL & DMPL Dollars
We purchased this entire group of coins from Jack when he sold his set. Within the collection were many of the finest known examples, including the 1880-S PCGS MS-69 PL (The finest mint state dollar ever graded). We thank Jack for selecting Legend to buy this important portion of his multimillion dollar set. We did the deal in just a few hours.
