QUIET TIME
Sort of. The principals of Legend are taking a much needed short break during the April 15th tax time. Things usually get quiet now anyway. Plus, we picked up two substantial deals that need to be processed and they won’t be ready for a week or so. And last week we switched our web site server or something and as many of you know, it did not go well (we think all the bugs are now fixed). So hence for several reasons, no NEWPS this week. However, watch what we offer next week and the week we are back from CSNS. No one will come close to what we have!
The PCGS Invitational was quiet. PCGS yet again held the line and not many coins were made out side of stuff and few generics. We looked at every ones tables and boxes, nada for us. We’re hoping CSNS yields some coins (we a prepared to pay higher to get them too)! Yet again, our “super secret stealth seller” sold soup to nuts really strong. We had 2nd shot with him and only spent $2,000.00. We are always mystified when we see others after us spending huge sums. Guess we are too picky!

KABOOM! Our May Regency Sale is now open. And open in a grand way it did: we had 120 people register and bid $1,600,000.00 in the first four hours! The eye balls on the sale has already exceeded our BEST Regency Sale total (that is amazing)l! Granted this is a $7,000,000.00 sale, but we never had such a strong open before. In addition, our lot viewing this week in Los Angeles has had more people RSVP then we ever thought it could! Of all the sales we have produced, by far, the May Regency Sale has something for everyone.
A note, even though the May Sale is 2 days, we have no plans to chase or be like the big auctions houses. We are a boutique and plan on staying that way. Producing an 850 lot sale really taxed our abilities. However, we would consider another such sale next year again in New Orleans (it also has to do with PCGS having the room earlier).
THE APRIL PREMIER SESSIONS SALE
This sale will go live Thursday or Friday of this week. We got a slew of great last minute consignments. This will be another mini Regency like sale with neater and real quality oriented coins. Stay tuned!
