What a stunning near GEM Proof Trade Dollar. No question this coin is HIGH END. Great date too! Deep mirrors beam boldly from all over. Most important: the mirrors have extremely bold clarity. Using a strong glass there are just some light scattered lines to see-no real imperfections. When you twirl the coin, the blast is so strong all you can see are a sheet of glass. There is an outstanding display of original toning framing the rims. The colors are gold with highlights of blue. The rest of the coin is untoned. You do NOT have to imagine the contrast-as it is bold. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and have thick silvery frost. The eye appeal is phenomenal! Ony 510 were minted.
