This is a VERY HIGH END and near miss Cameo piece!
Deep mirrors beam boldly from all over. The mirrors have exceptional clarity and are super clean. When you twirl the coin, you do see a deeper “watery” roll of the mirrors. There is some faint reddish gold toning by the outer rims. This is NOT a dipped out or messed with coin. There is some contrast. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 100, NGC 70, CAC 18. The current published price guides are behind the times on these (how shocking). The last one to sell in auction brought $3,600.00 01/2019 and was toned up. The coin offered here has lots of life and really is VERY HIGH END. Do NOT be fooled by the pops!
