$1 1884-CC PCGS MS66+ DMPL

It took us all one second to approve this coin. In our opinion, it is a true borderline MS67 DMPL!

Exceedingly deep mirrors beam as bold as anything you would see on a Proof Morgan. The mirrors are crystal clear and are at least 8″+++. When you twirl it, you should have Ray Bans on so you do not get blinded by the flash.  Overall, the coin is super clean-save for a small scuff on the right obverse. Even using a strong glass the worst thing you will find a few microscopic ticks. The contrast is breathtaking. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and are thickly frosted. In fact , this coin was NOT from the rusted die that we see so many 84CC’s are from. The eye appeal is a totally WOW!

PCGS 164, NGC 63, CAC 26. PCGS has graded 9 coins in MS66+ DMPL. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $5,520.00 04/2019. Keep in mind, even a NON CAC PCGS MS67 DMPL is still worth $20,000.00-$25,000.00.
