This is such an impossible date to find nice. And in the lower grades, it’s even harder to find a decent example. This coin is definitely solid for the grade!
You can only see some light lines, ticks, and giggles (light scuffs) with a strong glass, but to the naked eye, the surfaces look fairly clean and smooth. No question this coin is totally ORIGINAL. A strong luster shows off light orange gold colors. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is nice.
PCGS 294, NGC 143, CAC 5. A PCGS/CAC piece has not sold in auction since 2010! A MS63 PCGS/CAC piece brought $10,637.00 in 2011. These are NOT nearly as easy to find as the POP Reports suggest!
