1813 50C Half Dollar Capped Bust, Let Edge PCGS MS64+ O107a (CAC)

What a lovely and HIGH END half Dollar. We buy every 1813 50C in AU58 and higher when we can. We just remember when Laura was building her all AU58 set, this was the very last date she needed. And at first only found a 55. Crazy! In our strong opinion, this date is a sleeper!

Truly immaculate surfaces are a joy to behold. We used a strong glass and found no imperfections of any size, anywhere. A moderate but deeper mix of original olive/deep champagne/golden brown colors is evenly spread all over. These are not dull colors but maybe if they were a little more iridescent this coin would a GEM MS 65. There is a very good luster beaming all over. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is pleasing!
