1843 $10 Gold Liberty No Motto PCGS AU53 (CAC) FAIRMONT

A super pleasing and VERY HIGH END coin. We do consider this cojn a choice AU!

The surfaces are only lightly abraided with scattered and tiny ticks. You really need to use a glass to see them. There is a surprising light luster all over. Both sides a totally original deeper gold color. This coin has only the lightest toning (we do not like “dirty” coins. There are no discolorations on high points. No question this piece has never been messed with. Miss Liberty and details are well struck are really do not exhibit much wear at all. The eye appeal-especially for a circ, is terrific!

PCGs 10, NGC 28, CAC 2. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $4,080.00 in 05/2023. It did not look as nice as this coin. A critical note, only 3 pieces have been beaned (CAC) higher. In our opinion, this is a TREMENDOUSLY UNDERrated and UNDERvalued date in all grades of AU. We could not find any other AU53’s for sale.
