1856-S $3 Gold PCGS AU58 (CAC) A RARE BIRD!

This is the way these should come: crisp, clean, and pretty! this coin is also VERY HIGH END and really does border on MS. We call it a SUPERB GEM AU!

Remarkable surfaces are as clean as can be for an AU 58. Not even the fainest of lines or a single tick can be found when using the strongest glass to inspect this coin. There is a decent luster all over. Both sides are an ORIGINAL deep gold color with orange gold highlights. There are NO spots or discolorations on the high points. The wear is light and is hard to see. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 38, NGC 67, CAC 12. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell via auction brought 11,400.00 04/2022. The current Collectores Universe value is $12,500.00. These are not nearly as easy to find as you think (especially with a CAC sticker). This coin will make a great addition in any SUPERB AU set! !
