WOW! This is a VERY HIGH END piece. It is far superior to your typical 1862 $10.
This coin is a screaming fireball of luster. Turn the lights out and you can see it-even in another room! You can se a few tiny and scattered ticks. There are no major marks. The color is a vibrant original gold. There are no spots or discolorations. The wear is visible and is light. Miss Liberty and the detail are well struck. The eye appeal is crazy!
PCGS 15, NGC 22, CAC 4. CAC has only graded 15 higher. The last PCGS CAC piece piece to sell in auction brought $8,400.00 02/2023. That coin was a little dirty. We at Legend prefer non dirty coins. We also know this coin was never in Fairmont as it is in an older green holder. We cannot stress the enough how difficult it will be to find a better coin!
