1869 $1 Dollar Liberty Seated, With Motto PCGS MS65 (CAC)

An unbelievable GEM! Not only is it VERY HIGH END, we consider it fully prooflike (we make no promises). This is a very old friend to Legend as we last handled this coin in 2016. We are not sure where it’s been since then, one thing we do know, it was never offered by anyone publicly since.

Stunning fully prooflike surfaces (in our opinion) are just dazzling. At first glance, this coin resembles a proof. Only if you use a strong glass can you find a very isolated tiny tick or two. Otherwise, the big surfaces look clean. Of course there is intense flash/lauter. A ring of auburn/russet color surrounds only the rims on both ideas. There is a bold contrast. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and stand out with thick white frost. The eye appeal is incredible!

PCGS 2, NGC 3, CAC 2. FACT: This is the ONLY PCGS CAC coin that is available for many years to come. Both the other CAC coin and the MS66+ are placed in a major collection Legend helped assemble. This coin last sold for $76,375.00 back in a 2014 auction. Today, Collectors Universe verse value is a ridiculous $85,000.00.
