1869 $1 Dollar Liberty Seated, With Motto PCGS PR65CAM (CAC)

Gotta LOVE these big bold coins. This coin is a solid PR 65 Cameo all day long!

Deep mirrors beam boldly all over. Overall, the mirrors are pretty clean. Only when using a strong glass can you find a few stray lines. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a freshly made sheet of glass. The mirrors are not hazy. There is a light to moderate mix of totally original colors consisting of deep champagne/pale golden brown/a splash of blue. The contrast is good. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do offer thick frost. The eye appeal is very pleasing!

Only 600 were minted. PCGS 8, NGC 6, CAC 4. CAC has beaned only 2 coins higher. The last PCGS CAC auction record for a 1869 PR 65 Cameo CAC is $17,400.00 05/2022.
