A wonderful example of this “key” date for the series.
Strong mirrors beam effortlessly from all over. The surfaces are clean-and we used a very strong glass. A light pasting of pale gold covers both sides. You can still see the contrast. It does not dull the mirrors. Every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike and has good frost. The eye appeal is superb!
Only 510 were minted. PCGS 11, NGC 10, CAC 5. This piece was bought back in the 1/2020 FUN Sale. The current Collectors Universe value does not show this date any respect at only $15,000.00. There are no PCGS DCams graded by PCGS after 35+ years of operations, making this coin one of the best you can ever expect to get!
