1881 50C Half Dollar Liberty Seated, Motto PCGS MS67 (CAC)

This is a tremendously SUPER HIGH END SUPERB GEM! We never say this (and we make NO promise) but maybe a + is deserved here?

Intense prooflike (maybe ultra strong semi-prooflike) surfaces light up the coin. The surfaces/mirrors are incredibly clean-and we looked all over with a strong glass. The flash is visible from across the room. No question this coin is 100% original. There is a slight crescent of golden brown on the obverse and light traces on the reverse peripheries. The contrast is super strong too. Miss Liberty and every detail are frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is awesome!

PCGS 3, NGC 2, CAC 3. This is the ex-James Mossman coin that sold unstickered in 2009 for $24,150.00. fast forward, NO MS67’s have been auctioned since then. The person we obtained this monster from paid $30,000.00 for it. The published values are way behind reality-even with Type like this soft. One day down the road, this coin should be $50G -or more!
