1888 5C Nickel Liberty Head PCGS PR67 (CAC) A RARE COIN!

This HIGH END SUPERB GEM piece was a “no brainer” for us to buy.

Strong mirrors are clean overall and have good clarity. There is a small Mint made raised die line on the reverse. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look more like a sheet of glass. Beautiful and totally original pastel colors swirl all over. You do not have to imagine the colors. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 16, NGC 15, CAC 9. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell via auction brought $6,600.00 11/2023. The current Collectors Universe value is way out of whack at $2,750.00 (we paid much more). In SUPERB GEM this date is a true “silent stopper”.
