1892-CC $5 Gold Liberty With Motto PCGS MS63+ (CAC) ONE OF THE FINEST KNOWN

We were surprised to learn how rare this date really is in choice condition. So we were pleased to obtain this choice specimen. This coin is ex Fairmont.

Slightly baggy surfaces really just show a few light, tiny, and scattered ticks. There are no big marks. A tiny mint made grease dot can be seen on the obverse. The luster is very decent and you can clearly see it. In fact, you can detect slight traces of PL surfaces. Both sides have that slightly “dirty” original look from being stored for ever. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is pleasing!

PCGS 27, NGC 4, CAC 10. PCGS has graded 3 in MS63+. The current Collectors Universe value is $27,500.00. It should be noted CAC has graded NOTHING higher than MS63. This coin sold for $21,600.00 04/2022. It is near impossible to find a better 92CC-and remember there are NO CAC’s finer! A really difficult coin to find so choice. This clearly belongs in a choice CC set!
